Walford Prayer Group is a group in Walford for people to pray and give back to the community. Unlike traditional prayer groups, they don't operate from a church, but use Walford Community Centre.
Storylines[]
After her return to Walford in 2023, Yolande Trueman joins the prayer group. She quickly befriends Gideon Clayton, and the two grow close, leading to speculation from people thinking they are an item. When Yolande tells the Pastor to back off to avoid misconception, Gideon manipulates Yolande into believing she is in the wrong. On the day of the launch of the food truck for the homeless, Gideon sexually assaults Yolande in the community centre. When Yolande speaks to Levi for help, Gideon is absent from meetings afterwards. Yolande takes some time off from the group after this. When she returns, people she had previously had issues with welcome her back and agree to let it stay in the past. On the same day, Reiss Colwell joins the group.
