Valerie Georgeson has written for the popular BBC tv series Juliet Bravo and Angels, Granada TV's Crown Court and Thames TV's Gems, and Short Cut To Paradise a BBC drama documentary and the BBC soap opera EastEnders. Her work for BBC children's and schools' television has included a five-part adaption of Catherine Cookson's Our John Willie and a 50-minute dramatisation of Penelope Lively's The Bells of Astercoate. She has written many plays, features and schools' programmes for radio and her novels The Turning Tides, Seeds of Love, The Garden and Whispering Roots.
