Ulric Browne is an actor who has been appearing as the long-standing guest character Winston in EastEnders from November 1985 to present.
Ulric has played many roles on TV; highlights include The Bill in which he has played different roles in thee separate storylines. In Gems he played the role of Eddie for Thames TV and in Black Silk as Julio for the BBC. Ulric also played a DJ in the top-rated series of Grange Hill.
He has performed leading roles in the films Quiet Storm, a popular film in which he played the role of Tiko, Grounded an American film, A Very Private Detective in the role of Keven Shaw and One Way Out as Marcus.
Ulric has a solid theatre history as well, having played the roles of Mabutu in Africa, and Darkie in Battle of Cable Street. He then went on to perform the roles of Bagheera in Jungle Book in Worthing & Fareham's summer season, and his last pantomime was Snow White and The Seven Dwarfs in which he played Herman, The Woodsman at the Buxton Opera House.
