
Tracy-Ann Oberman (born Tracy Anne Oberman; 25th August 1966 in Brent, London) is an English actress who portrayed Chrissie Watts in EastEnders from April 2004 to December 2005, and returned briefly in September 2024.
Oberman trained at the Central School of Speech and Drama. In 2001, she won the BBC Green Light Award for entertainment (an award for scriptwriting). Oberman scored the highest points in a celebrity version of the BBC programme Test the Nation. Oberman has done stand up comedy in the past.
Oberman has a wealth of experience in the acting world. Before EastEnders she appeared in Casualty as Charlie Fairhead's love interest. Oberman has been on stage at London's National Theatre and has also done lots of radio work. She appeared in Bob Martin alongside Michael Barrymore. She's also been in Lenny Henry in Pieces, and a series called Big Train.
Since leaving EastEnders, Oberman has had a very busy career appearing in high profile shows Doctor Who, Doctors, Tracy Beaker Returns, Waterloo Road and Friday Night Dinner. From 2016 to 2021, she had voiced the character Daisy in the children's television show Thomas & Friends.
