The Flower of Albert Square is the fourth of twelve novels by EastEnders scriptwriter Hugh Miller based on the TV Series EastEnders that chronicles the life of Ethel Skinner during the Second World War and the Early 1970's. It was first published by Grafton Books in paperback in 1986 and by Inner Circle Books in hardback in 1986.

As far as William Skinner was concerned, his wife Ethel was The Flower of Albert Square. But despite her love for William, Ethel has not had an easy life.
