Stephen Churchett is a British actor and director who appeared as Marcus Christie in EastEnders from 1990 to 1991, in 1993, from 1996 to 2004 and 2014 to 2015.

Born in April 1947 and raised in Bromley, Kent, Churchett first debuted his acting career in 1970 in the television series Up Pompeii! appearing as a soldier. He then went on to appear in many productions before landing his first break in the TV Series Together in 1981 appearing as Peter Hunt, a role he remained for a year. In 1985, he appeared in an episode of Doctor Who - Attack of the Cybermen: Part One, appearing as a character called Bill. He was no stranger to the television series The Bill either, appearing intermittently in the programme from 1989 to 1999. After making his debut in EastEnders in 1990, he also wrote an episode for The Bill in 1991. He has also written for many other productions such as Inspector Morse, Marple and Inspector Lewis. His last known appearance on television was the departure of his EastEnders' character in 2015.
