Spencer made his only appearance on 4 September 2001. He was portrayed by Tony Mooney.

Storylines[]

Spencer arrives at The Queen Victoria with his work colleague Stuart to refurb a new kitchen for Sharon Watts, Spencer attempts to flirt with Sharon and also makes her boyfriend Phil Mitchell angry by repeatedly calling Phil "Flower". An agitated Phil warns Spencer not to call him Flower and Spencer apologises, telling Phil he was only trying to be friendly. Spencer and Stuart then rip Sharon's kitchen apart leaving Sharon and Phil unimpressed and Stuart asks them which cowboy (which is slang for a dodgy builder) built their kitchen. Spencer and Stuart then show very poor health and safety when they start throwing materials out of the window, with some material nearly hitting Phil's mother, Peggy Mitchell. Spencer then throws a metal pipe out the window which actually hits Audrey Trueman on the head which makes her dizzy, Spencer apologises for hitting Audrey and she insists she is fine. Spencer and Stuart then finish the kitchen off and leave Walford. However, unbeknownst to Spencer Audrey would die on 6 September 2001 after suffering a delayed brain haemorrhage as a result of Spencer hitting her with the pipe.
