Spain is or The Kingdom Of Spain is a Country on the Iberian Peninsula in Southern Europe. It is bordered by Portugal to the West, and with France and Andorra in the North East. The capital is Madrid. With a Population of 47 million people Spain is a very popular Holiday destination.
Many characters from EastEnders have either visited here or lived here. A few critical memorable moments in Spain were the 1995 trip when the Mitchell brothers discovered Sam Mitchell's glamorous life was, in fact, a lie. The 2000 tour with the older residents of the Square which led to the start of the affair of Pat and Frank and Irene's departure from the show.
Spain was also the home of Ronnie and Roxy Mitchell until 2007 when they moved to the Square as well as Peggy Mitchell after her departure from Walford when The Queen Vic fire destroyed her lively hood in the area.
