Shenice Quinn played by Lily Harvey first appeared on 28th February 2011. She is the young daughter of Kat Moon's friend Martina whom they met in Spain. Kat was initally angry at Martina for grassing her and husband Alfie up to the police in spain, but later forgives her after Alfie warms to Shenice.
It was only a few days into their stay at the Queen Vic when Kat and Alfie realised Shenice was being neglected by Martina, who's party-loving antics got in the way of her being a proper mum to Shenice. On 10 March, Shenice is upset when Martina forgets her 8th birthday, so Kat and Alfie organises a party for her, inviting the Butchers, Liam, Morgan and Tiffany. Tiffany takes an instant disliking to Shenice as they are wearing the same top but they later make friends. Martina however gets money for plane tickets so she takes Shenice back to Spain.
On 1 August 2011, Kat, Alfie and baby Tommy return from their recent holiday, bringing Shenice home with them, claiming Martina needed some space. So Shenice began staying with Kat, Alfie, Tommy, Mo Harris and Jean Slater at the Vic. At the end of the holidays, Shenice is due back in Spain, but does not want to go, and her friends Tiffany and Bobby Beale plead Alfie to let her stay, and he does so. Alfie later talks Ian Beale into getting Shenice a place at Walford Primary School, so she can be in Tiff and Bobby's class. In December, Shenice prepares for her Christmas show where she is an angel. Jean Slater starts behaving erratically due to her bipolar and believes Shenice in an angel sent by her daughter Stacey Branning. She forces Shenice to go ice-skating with her and they head to Walford East Station, the youngster runs away scared and tells Kat and Alfie that Jean's not very well. She later performs in the Christmas show with Tiffany.
