Stacey Dooley is joined by some of Walford's biggest stars to relive their characters' most iconic moments, share behind-the-scenes stories and reveal stuff that is normally kept under wraps. She begins by catching up with Danny Dyer and Kellie Bright - Mick Carter and Linda Carter - who talk about an embarrassing wardrobe malfunction and give Stacey a tour of the Queen Vic. Danny also shares his best `doof doof' face, and reveals which EastEnders legend sent him a special note before he took over the pub.
Stacey Dooley sits down for a chat with two of EastEnders' original cast members - Adam Woodyatt and Letitia Dean - AKA Ian Beale and Sharon Watts, who reflect on their careers. The pair reminisce about starting on the show together as teenagers, revisit classic scenes - and classic hair-dos - and share their best backstage stories. They also tease just what's in store for Ian and Sharon when the show returns.
Stacey Dooley is joined by James Bye and Davood Ghadami, aka market regulars Martin Fowler and Kush Kazemi, who talk about their time working on the soap. The pair look back at their earliest scenes and biggest storylines yet - from a dramatic love triangle with Stacey Slater and the Kazemi family's hard-hitting brush with knife crime, as well as Martin's more recent journey to Albert Square bad boy.
Stacey Dooley is joined by Max Bowden and Tony Clay to talk all things Ben Mitchell and Callum Highway - better known to fans as Ballum - with the pair reflecting on classic scenes and sharing their best backstage stories. The programme also delves into the EastEnders archives for a look at the pioneering LGBTQ+ characters that paved the way, from Colin and Barry to Binnie Roberts and Della Alexander and Christian Clarke and Syed Masood.
Stacey Dooley is joined by Diane Parish and Tameka Empson, aka sisters Denise Fox and Kim Fox, for a socially-distanced reunion as Tameka returns to set for the first time since 2019. The pair reveal all about their close working relationship and tell the stories behind some of their biggest moments - from Tameka reliving her infamous live labour scenes for the show's 30th anniversary to Diane explaining why she once had to pretend to all her friends and family that she'd quit the soap.
Stacey Dooley is joined by Gillian Taylforth and Adam Woodyatt, aka mother and son Kathy Beale and Ian Beale, who tell all about their unique working relationship and 35-year friendship. They talk about their biggest scenes - from Gillian's nerves while filming Kathy's shock return from the dead to the real reason Adam had to wear a hat throughout Ian's homeless storyline.
Stacey Dooley is joined by Jake Wood and Scott Maslen, aka brothers Max Branning and Jack Branning, who reflect on their time on the Square and look back at the lives and many, many love interests of their characters. Scott tells the story of his cloak and dagger first meeting about joining the show, Stacey shocks them both with a clip of Jake's first-ever appearance in Walford 30 years ago and the pair reminisce about the fateful night of the live 25th anniversary episode of the long-running soap.
Stacey Dooley is joined by Maisie Smith, Zack Morris and Lorraine Stanley, aka Tiffany Butcher, Keegan Baker and Karen Taylor, who chat about their biggest storylines and share backstage gossip and secrets from the set. Stacey also finds time to put in a shift at the nation's favourite launderette - where Lorraine lets her in on the inner workings of the machines and reveals what it was like to work with June Brown, aka Dot Branning.
The legends — who portray queens of Walford Linda Carter and Sharon Watts — will sit down once more with Stacey Dooley, to reminisce about their own characters’ tumultuous and dramatic moments that took place inside The Queen Vic. Additionally, Kellie Bright and Letitia Dean will take a look back at the iconic landladies which came before them — including Angie Watts and Peggy Mitchell.
