Seán Mahon is an Irish stage and screen actor who appeared as Ray Kelly in EastEnders from September 2018 to January 2019 when his character was killed off, being shot dead by Hunter Owen.
His stage credits include Broadway productions of The Seafarer and The 39 Steps. He has been nominated for a Best Lead Actor award by the Irish Film and Television Academy for his role as maverick cop, Brian Mc Gonigle in the TV series Red Rock. Other screen work include the award winning films Philomena, Higher Ground and the war thriller Anthropoid.
