P.C. Richard Crowe is a community police officer. He made his first appearance on 24 July 1997 and last on 26 July 1999. He was portrayed by Simon Thomson.
Storylines[]
P.C. Richard Crowe is first seen when he is invited to a meeting of the Albert Square Residents Association by Ian Beale to do property marking for peoples valuables in The Queen Victoria.
He is seen again two years later when Dot Cotton invites him to Bridge House to discuss setting up a Neighbourhood Watch scheme. As he exits the property, he witnesses an alternation between Grant Mitchell and a social worker. When Grant attacks the social worker's car, P.C. Crowe arrests him for affray and criminal damage.
He appears again the following month when he visits Dot Cotton's home for the Neighbourhood Watch presentation, but he arrests her for possession of drugs when he finds that the 'herbal' tea she's been drinking was actually cannabis.
