Pavel Douglas is a Polish-born, British-based actor who appeared as Gregory Mantel in EastEnders from 1988 to 1989.
Douglas was born on the 5th January 1951 in Kraków, Malopolskie, Poland. He was naturalised in 1959 and by the end of the 1970s, having been brought up in Scotland and France made his first credited debut role in the television series Shoestring.
After this, he went on to appear in productions such as Jangles, Into the Labyrinth, Jamaica Inn and the The Master of Ballantrae. 1985, he appeared in the television mini-series Widows 2 appearing as the character Det Sgt. Reynolds a role he remained in for three consecutive episodes. He then portrayed the captain in the television mini-series of the reproduction of Robin Hood. He has infrequently appeared in Lovejoy as Lord Alexander Felsham a role he remained from 1986 to 1993. His last known contribution to television was in 2018 in The Princess Switch appearing as King George.
