The unnamed father of Nicola Mitchell was first mentioned on 19 August 2025, the 20th anniversary of his death.
Backstory[]
He is the father of Nicola and also has another daughter, who is unnamed. He is portrayed to be quite sociable, as he would show Nicola off down the park as he spoke to some mates. However, if she wasn't well-behaved, he would hit Nicola, and cease communication with her for sometimes as long as a few days. It is also hinted that he could've been an alcoholic as he would stay out quite late and come home in a fit of rage. He was a domestic abuser, lashing out on his wife, who would try to get him to use all his energy on her so he wouldn't attack the kids.
Storylines[]
On 19 August 2025, Nicola was seen in a state of disarray, with old photo albums and a bottle of vodka by her side. She got upset by watching Jay Brown tying Lexi Pearce's shoelaces and George Knight giving Kojo Asare a signet ring. Teddy Mitchell advised George to steer clear from Nicola today, which he ignored, and went to speak with her, and she told him all about her childhood and the anniversary of her father's death, and they bonded over their mutual knowledge of uncaring father figures.
