Michael made his first appearance on 19 February 1985 and last on 19 September 2016. He is portrayed by Michael Leader.
Storylines[]
Michael is the milkman in Albert Square, according to the BBC he has been in the show since the first Episode. It's mention in the press that this is the first time Michael the Milkman spoke first line was 13 November 2001 (16 years after he first appeared), when he brought a drunk Kat Slater home on his milk float, delivering her to her father, Charlie Slater. However, this is actually his second credited appearance with dialogue.
His first spoken line and credited appearance was 24 December 1991, when he agrees to have quick Christmas drink with Frank Butcher at the B&B, and thanks him for the drink soon after. Later in the episode, he is seen in a drunken stupor at the Queen Vic during the Christmas Eve celebration. His next spoken line (uncredited) was 31 August 1999, when he asked Phil Mitchell for his Milk bill. His only other credited appearance was 13 May 2016.
In 2016, he is seen welcoming Peggy Mitchell (Barbara Windsor) back to Walford after giving her a ride around the square on his milk float.
On August 24, 2016 the EastEnders website announced that Michael Leader who played Michael had passed away. He made his last appearance on 19 September 2016.
He was last seen on screen in The Queen Victoria pub walking up to the bar on 19 September 2016.
