History[]
The premises at 7 New Road was previously occupied by a recruitment agency called Mansells Recruitment which was first seen in 2014.
From 2017, it has been occupied by Marshall & Hammond, an estate agents which has been in Walford since at least the 1990's.
Storylines[]
The premises was first seen on screen 22 December 2014 (Mansells Recruitment), when Emma Summerhayes visited the Joanna's Café on New Road. Left of the shop is Dexter Roger's & Associates. Right of the shop is an alleyway leading to Albert Square. It has never been seen since, but is now occupied by Marshall & Hammond, a letting agency that Ben Mitchell and Jay Mitchell rent 18 Albert Square from.
On 29 November 2021, a Marshall & Hammond sign is seen outside 43 Albert Square. On 10 May 2022, another sign is seen outside a flat that Callum Highway, Ben Mitchell and Lexi Pearce are thinking of renting.
