Maggie Steed (born Margaret Baker; 1st December 1946 in Plymouth, Devon) is an English actress and comedian who portrayed Joyce Murray in EastEnders from May 2017 to March 2018, when her character was killed off.
Steed is also known for her roles as Rita Moon in Shine on Harvey Moon and Margaret Crabbe in Pie in the Sky, and has also appeared in Coronation Street, Crown Court, Red Dwarf, Midsomer Murders, Father Brown and Silent Witness.
