Letitia Jane Dean was born 14th November 1967 in Potters Bar, Hertfordshire. She is an English actress who has portrayed Sharon Watts in EastEnders since February 1985. An original cast member from 1985 to 1995, she reprised the role from 2001 to 2006, and again from 2012 onwards.
Her other television credits include Grange Hill, Brookside, The Hello Girls and Lucy Sullivan Is Getting Married. In 2007, she participated in the fifth series of the BBC dance competition Strictly Come Dancing, finishing fourth

Letitia won the Outstanding Achievement award at The British Soap Awards and was given the award by Anita Dobson, who played her on-screen mum, Angie Watts.
