Kioni Marwa is the daughter of Nyangi Marwa and sister of Mila Marwa. She made her first appearance 24 May 2021 and last on 3 February 2022. She was portrayed by Florisa Kamara.

Storylines

Kioni is the sister of Mila Marwa who informs Mila that their mother Nyangi Marwa plans to take her on a trip to see an unnamed aunt. It later turns out that Nyangi is planning on putting Kioni through FGM like her sister Mila suffered. Mila stops this with help from Kathy Beale and her girlfriend, Iqra Ahmed and Nyangi is arrested. Kioni is placed into Mila’s care and the two stay on the square. In January 2022, Iqra moves to Bristol, and the sisters follow her once Mila and Iqra gain custody of Kioni.
