Karen Beckworth made her first appearance on 29 December 2016 and last on 30 December 2016. She was portrayed by Sally Rogers.
Storylines[]
Karen is a parking attendant, who sees Lee Carter becoming frustrated and angry with a parking payment machine. Lee shouts in her face, saying her "stupid machine" will get him sacked from his job, which scares her, but Lee apologises saying he would not hurt her. Karen then helps Lee to get a parking ticket and tells him that everyone has bad days. Later that day she meets Lee again when he is contemplating suicide and she convinces him that he is loved and killing himself will not make him or his family feel any better, and that she knows what he is going through. She gives him a card with a help number on it and cries in front of a photograph of a young boy.

- It is hinted that Karen had a son that committed suicide.
