Juliet Ace is a professional television writer, who worked on EastEnders from 1985 to 1990. She was responsible for storylines such as Michelle Fowler's teenage pregnancy in which she wrote the episode where Michelle spilt the beans to her Gran, Lou Beale, that she was with child. She was also responsible for writing the first appearance of Pat Wicks, the tearaway mother of Simon Wicks who was originally introduced as a guest character, but went on to be one of the most famous faces in EastEnders history. Next came, The Ladies Darts Teams' outings, which proved to be a popular episode in the early years of the show and also saw the first appearance of another character whom initially introduced for a guest stint, Frank Butcher. And finally, but not at all the last contribution she made, was the episode when Donna Ludlow told Kathy Beale that she was her daughter.
