Dr.Joe Yip made his only appearance on 25 December 2015. He was portrayed by Chike Chan.
Storylines[]
Joe is the Doctor that treated Dennis Rickman Jnr, when he was admitted after being assaulted by Bobby Beale and in a car accident. He also treated Phil Mitchell for the car accident and also told him he had Cirrhosis of the liver. He is also seen with Medical Consultant Colin McWerther, while he explains that Dennis has a subdural hematoma. Colin tells Sharon and Phil Mitchell they need to operate to release the pressure on Dennis's brain. He latter is seen telling Sharon and phil that the operation is underway and there won't be any news for a few hours. He also tells Phil that they need to discuss his treatment too but Phil says they have enough to worry about. He later gives Phil a leaflet about Cirrhosis of the liver.
