Joseph "Joe" Swash (born 20th January 1982 in Islington) is a presenter and actor who appeared as Mickey Miller in EastEnders from April 2003 to July 2008 and again for a guest stint in September 2011.
Joe studied at the Anna Scher Theatre School along with fellow EastEnders stars Natalie Cassidy, James Alexandrou and Brooke Kinsella. He was initially up for the part of Spencer Moon, but Christopher Parker pipped him to the post. When Joe was seven, he made his first TV appearance in a classic Andrex advert. He was the little boy who wiped off his grandmother's slobbery kiss in disgust. His other television roles include Casualty and The Bill. His sister, Shana Swash appeared as his onscreen sister Demi Miller.
After leaving EastEnders he went on to appear in the eighth series of the reality show I'm a Celebrity...Get Me Out of Here! which he went on to win. He presents I’m A Celebrity: Extra Camp when the season comes for the main show to air. He is also in a relationship with former I'm a Celeb contestant Stacey Solomon and has been since 2016.
In February 2015, Joe presented an EastEnders behind-the-scenes special for the 30th anniversary called EastEnders: Backstage Live along with Zoe Ball and Ore Oduba, and in December 2023 he presented EastEnders: The Six, another two-part special focusing on the Christmas 2023 storyline.
