Jo is in the Café on 1 September 2008 when Dawn Swann and Shirley Carter are talking about the death of Jase Dyer.
Jo was at The Queen Victoria when the Carter Family arrived in 2013. Jo attended Ronnie Branning and Roxy Mitchell's funeral on 20 January 2017. In April, she watches Bex Fowler busking by the tube station. When a bus crashed in Bridge Street on 24 January 2017, Jo was injured, however she managed to help lift the bus to rescue a trapped Martin Fowler. In June, she attends Patrick Trueman’s birthday party. On 29 August 2017, Jo is seen talking to a man at the restaurant. It’s unknown if they are friends or dating, but they were seen holding hands. Jo attended Kat's tribute party in March 2018.
She was seen on the Smith-Holland boat party in 2020. Jo witnessed the fire at 55 Victoria Road on 21 September 2021 with Winston. Jo attended the Jubilee street party on 2 June 2022. When Avery Baker arrives on 4 July 2022, Jo is one of the market traders that tells him to reverse, however when Avery Lies about his cat dying and him being on the way to the vet, Jo and the other traders let him through and move their stalls. Avery later invites all the traders to the Vic and pays for drinks for all of them. Jo later attended the Baker Brothers Caribbean party on 29 August 2022. Jo is seen talking to market inspector Honey Mitchell on 20 July 2022. In February 2025, Jo attends Honey and Billy Mitchell’s wedding where the Queen Vic explodes. In April 2025, He attends Martin Fowler’s funeral and wake.
