Jill Halfpenny (born 15th July 1975 in Gateshead, Tyne and Wear) is an English actress and voiceover artist who portrayed Kate Mitchell in EastEnders from December 2002 to January 2005.
Known for her roles as Nicola Dobson in Byker Grove, Rebecca Hopkins in Coronation Street and Izzie Redpath in Waterloo Road, Halfpenny has also appeared in The Bill, Birds of a Feather, Heartbeat, Dalziel and Pascoe, Shameless, Vera, Death in Paradise and Inside No. 9.
