Edward "Jed" Chadwick made his first appearance on 31 January 2023 and last on 10 February 2023. He was portrayed by Bradley Jaden.
Storylines[]
Edward is a lodger at 25 Albert Square that Sonia Fowler takes on to help with her bills. Edward is the best lodger out of everyone Sonia interviewed, so she gives the room to him. However, Sonia quickly grows annoyed at him as he moves his stuff into the living room, and later smokes an apple shisha in the kitchen with Karen Taylor. Sonia accepts his apology. The next day, when Sonia comes home with Reiss Colwell, she is shocked to see Edward and Karen doing yoga in her living room, and after some banter with Karen, she joins in. Sonia reaches breaking point when she comes home and Edward stands in the kitchen naked, Sonia confides in Reiss that she want Edward out but hasn't had the chance to tell him. Reiss later confronts Edward when he is with Karen and reveals to Karen that Edward's real name isn't Jed, but Edward Chadwick. Reiss then goes onto reveal Edward is a fraud and the son of a wealthy business man, Reiss then orders Edward to leave Sonia's house. Edward leaves and Reiss then moves in with Sonia.
