James McIntyre made his first appearance on 18 July 2022 and last on 28 July 2022 - Part 2. He was portrayed by Anto Sharp.
Backstory[]
James went to school with Ben Mitchell and had a crush on him, James also takes drugs, it is unknown when he started this habit.
Storylines[]
James arrives in Walford looking to buy a car, he goes to the Arches and Ben points him to Square Dealz, James asks Ben if he recognise him and Ben says he does not, so James tells him his name and that they went to school together, Ben then recognises him and it's revealed he didn't recognise James because his appearance had completely changed. James then tells Ben he had a crush on him in school and asks Ben out on a date which freaks Ben out as Ben had been raped by Lewis Butler and was mentally struggling.
James and Ben run into each other the next day and Ben agrees to go on a date with him, Ben and James go for a date at Peggy's and reminisce about the past, James leaves to go to the toilet but Ben sees James buying drugs from Tez, one of Ben's criminal contacts who works for Jonah Tyler. Ben and James go to The Arches and begin kissing but Ben backs away James then begins to take drugs and Ben asks James if he can have some as well, the two then take the drugs and have a one-night-stand. Ben meets James in the Vic days later and the two take drugs and sleep together again.
