Jackie Ford was a character who Cindy Beale shared a cell with in 1998. Cindy later turned informant on Jackie's activities, which caused Cindy's death to be faked and she spent the next twenty five years in the witness protection.
Storylines[]
Following Cindy Beale's imprisonment in 1998, she was put in a cell with Jackie Ford. Cindy became an informant against Jackie's activities. Cindy was placed in the witness protection, with the authorities faking her death claiming Cindy died in prison whilst giving birth to her daughter Cindy.
In April 2014, Cindy believed that the Fords murdered her daughter Lucy Beale in retaliation for her sending Jackie down. But this wasn't the case as it later turned out to be Lucy's younger half-brother Bobby.
Cindy began living under the name of Rose Knight and started residing in France. Twenty-five years later, Jackie Ford passed away in prison in June 2023, which would allow Cindy to return to her original identity.
