Howard is the ex boyfriend of Simon Raymond, he made his first appearance on the 19 August 1996 and last on 2 September 1996. He was portrayed by Dorian Lough.
Backstory[]
Howard was Simon's first boyfriend, but their relationship became abusive. This caused loads of arguments between Simon and Tiffany Mitchell, because Simon wouldn't leave Howard and kept putting up with the abuse. Simon finally left the relationship two years later and came to Walford in search of his sister.
Storylines[]
Howard came to Walford in search of his ex boyfriend Simon Raymond. He gets Simon's address from Sanjay Kapoor, and turns up at his flat. Simon is shocked when he sees Howard, but let's him inside to talk about their relationship. Howard promises to never be abusive again, but when Simon was beginning to believe him, Tiffany returns home. Tiffany tries to persuade Simon not to go back to him, starting an argument between her and Howard. Howard calls Tiffany a slut and tells Simon to leave with him. As Howard was walking away to leave, Tiffany grabbed him, so he turned around and slapped her, knocking her to the ground. Simon rushes over to Tiffany and reveals to Howard that she's pregnant, telling him to leave right away. Howard returned to Walford a few weeks later to apologise for his actions. He tells Simon that he'd excepted a job in Sheffield and asked if he wanted to come along, but Simon declined the offer, and Howard leaves Walford for good.
