Harry Mitchell is the son of Teddy and Nicola Mitchell, half-brother of Barney Mitchell, and nephew of Billy and Charlie Mitchell. He made his first appearance on 26 June 2024. He is portrayed by Elijah Holloway.
Storylines
Harry arrives at the hospital with father, Teddy, and brother, Barney. They'd received a phone call about grandfather, Stevie Mitchell being hospitalised. So they arrive, Teddy speaks to Stevie but Stevie is dismissive of them.
They arrive at the square and on his first day, Harry is seen trying to get into The Arches, Harry also flirts with Penny Branning. They later sleep together, but hide it from Penny's father, Jack Branning. Despite this, when Stevie arrives at the Vic, Teddy, Harry and Barney come in and meet their relatives; Phil, Billy, Will and more. Harry bigs up to Phil a few times but Phil shuts him down. Stevie then reveals that Teddy is Billy’s brother - meaning Harry and Barney are Billy's nephews. Billy is distraught to meet the new Mitchell's and it almost turns physical.
A family revelation sparks as Will reveals that he was the one who hospitalised Stevie, Harry and the other Mitchell's are angered to learn this, but Will is calmed down by his parents - despite Harry's anger. Some time after, Teddy tries to befriend his cousin Phil, however he shows aggression. Harry stands up to Phil once again and they threaten each other, and Phil walks away.
At a family meal, the Mitchell's, old and new, try to get along and spend some time together. Harry still has a small vendetta against Phil and argues with him once again, Harry makes snide remarks to Phil despite Billy trying to de-escalate the situation. When Phil brands Harry as 'scum', Harry tries to attack him but is stopped by Zack Hudson. Phil then gets angry and gets physical, and is kicked out. Soon after, he is disregarded by Harry and the other Mitchell's.
Harry later tries to chat up Cindy Beale in The Queen Vic, and buys her a drink. Harry eventually makes a joke about 1 Albert Square to Chelsea Fox which angers her due to the past. However, Teddy forces Harry to make amends with Chelsea. They then stir up a lie as to why they moved to Walford, hiding from a "you-know-who".
Harry and Penny continue flirting and this turns into a relationship. When Penny comes under fire for being accused of causing the crush at Peggy's, Harry is there for her and the two become closer. Upon finding out that Chelsea Fox was responsible and that Jack Branning essentially chose Chelsea over Penny, Penny requests Harry for his help in getting revenge on Jack. On 17 October 2024, Harry comes across Jack on the Square and teases him "Are you going to put me in a wheelchair too?" to which Jack punches him in the face. Harry finds out that Tommy Moon recorded this altercation and pays him £50 to get the video. Harry then confirms that he will aid Penny in taking down Jack.
On 21 October 2024, Harry and Penny have created a plan to pretend to have ended their relationship in their plan to destroy Jack. Jack then contacts one of his co-workers in the police and tells Penny that he has found out that Harry is dangerous, telling her that the police believe Harry may have killed his ex-girlfriend Shireen who went missing.

- Nicola Mitchell (1 May 2025) (x2) - After discovering Nicola was behind Shireen Bashar's death, Harry attempts to kill Nicola by setting Harry's Barn on fire in a murder-suicide and also attempts to hit her with a crowbar.
- Teddy Mitchell (1 May 2025) - Attempts to strangle Teddy with a crowbar, after discovering that Teddy knew about Nicola's involvement in Shireen's death.
