Harriet Amelia Thorpe (born 8th June 1957 in Hampstead, London) is an English actress who has portrayed Elaine Knight in EastEnders since May 2023, taking over the role from Maria Friedman.
Known for her roles as Carole in The Brittas Empire and Fleur in Absolutely Fabulous, Thorpe has also appeared in The Bill, French and Saunders, Casualty, Crossroads, Doctors, Hollyoaks, Father Brown and Endeavour.
