Gladstones Brewery is a brewery that sells alcohol to local pubs, clubs and bars.
Storylines[]
Gladstones Brewery were the main rivals to Luxford & Copley. They owned a disused pub on Turpin Road, which later became a wine bar named "The Dagmar" when James Willmott-Brown took over the tenancy in 1987. Later that year, they sponsored The Dagmar for a 5-a-side football match against The Queen Victoria which they lost.
On 14 June 1988, Mr. Ballard, the area manager for Gladstones Brewery, visited Wilmott-Brown in The Dagmar and criticised him for not being able to sell enough of their beer.
In 1992, they sponsored The Queen Victoria's "Miss Queen Vic" contest with Sam Mitchell coming first place, winning £100 and a Gladstones tankard.
