Corky is a Galah parrot, bought by Mo Harris on Christmas Day 2005. She mistakenly assumed she was buying a cheap turkey for Christmas dinner. On 29 July 2008, Corky escapes from his cage and out the window after Roxy’s dog Albert (II) opens Corky’s cage with his paw. Roxy unsuccessfully chases after Corky, climbing up on to the roof to catch him but gets stuck up there when the ladder falls to the ground. A furious Mo creates ‘Missing Parrot’ posters with a £200 reward and argues with Roxy saying that the money is coming out of her pocket. Roxy says ‘I wouldn’t pay £200 to save your life Mo let alone your flipping parrot’. It is unknown whether or not Mo finds Corky, however he is not seen on screen again.
