Summary[]
Michelle ignores phone calls from Geoff, not knowing what to do next. Carol digs at Kathy over Robbie's disappearance, thinking she has something to do with it. Diane makes an unexpected return to Number 41.
Nigel is applauded by the stallholders on the market for surviving his "heart attack". Mark invites Steve for a game of snooker in the evening to help him take his mind off of Della. Carol cries over Robbie. Ricky plans to sign on for a bit, despite Pat not wanting him to. Meena sneaks into Sanjay's bedsit to discuss winning Gita back over. He tells her that Gita has been down over the last few days. Meena identifies a potential source of the sadness - it is their mother's birthday next week, and she thinks Gita will want to visit the temple on their mother's birthday, so suggests Sanjay gives her time off the store and looks after Sharmilla. Steve sits Della down at the Vic and makes it clear to her that he fancies her. He asks her to take some time to think about what he has said rather than acting hastily. Kathy discovers two 12 year olds have been arrested for the break-in at the café, and informs Carol. Mark and Steve head off to the snooker hall. Diane admits that she has seen Frank - he is not in a good way. She cannot understand how he was allowed to get in the state he did and scolds a defenceless Pat. Nigel and Debbie do not know how they will afford a big wedding. Mark notices Robbie at the snooker hall, and phones Alan. Ricky supports Pat after hearing some of the things Diane has said, and Diane softens on Pat. Della takes Binnie upstairs at the Vic. They enjoy their time alone and end up sleeping together. Alan asks Robbie to hear him out at the snooker hall and manages to encourage him to return home, and Carol is thrilled upon seeing her beloved son. Steve returns to The Vic and heads upstairs to his room, where he walks in on Binnie and Della in bed together and is mortified. |
