Summary[]

Another bill comes through at Number 41, as Pat and Ricky anxiously wait for the insurance company to pay them. Meena finds Gita and wants to talk, but she is not interested in what her sister has to say. Grant and Phil head to sort out Jimmy.

Kathy and Phil are greeted to rubbish from their bin strewn across the floor outside their flat.

Michelle bails out of taking Vicki to school and does not feel ready for her college finals, so Mark suggests that she talks to her personal tutor.

Gita demands that Sanjay find somewhere else to live sharply, so he turns to Tricky Dicky, who offers him a bedsit for £40 a week at the newly converted Number 5.

Michelle talks to her personal tutor Geoff Barnes about why she does not feel she can commit to her final exams. Geoff assumes she is going through a break-up, and she does not appreciate Geoff's assumption and accuses him of patronising her.

Pat phones the insurance company over the pay-out but does not get anywhere.

Mark heads to Number 45 to express his concerns over Michelle's mental state.

Police visit Pat at Number 41.

Kathy closes up the café when a brick is thrown through the window. Mark and Sanjay hear the smashing of glass and rush to Kathy's aid. Sanjay fetches Phil, who takes Kathy back to the flat, while Mark boards up the broken window.

Ricky gets wind of police presence at Number 41, and heads to find out what is going on. Pat explains that Frank's driving licence was found in a pub in Chelmsford.

Mark thinks he should move into Number 55 and raises the subject with Michelle, who thinks it is "odd" living with her brother.

Phil returns to the flat after his visit with Jimmy and wraps a tea towel around his injured fist. Kathy wants the police involved but Phil is adamant they stay out of the situation, so she questions him on where the dangerous games will end.
