Summary[]
Phil lies to Kathy about his injured hand. Meena visits Sanjay, wanting to know where Gita is, but Sanjay will not tell her anything, so she turns her attention to Cindy. Ricky considers running an advert in the newspaper for Frank. Pat sees Frank in Ricky, and is proud of him.

Ian asks Sanjay to meet him in his office in the afternoon, as he has made a decision over his loan enquiry. Nellie refuses to let go of Pauline and Arthur's decision to not let Jules move into Number 45. Jimmy visits Kathy at the café with a bruised face and unnerves her. Gita is late for work. Her boss, Charles, is least impressed and later asks Gita to show a potential new employee named Laura, the ropes around the office. Arthur receives a letter from the magistrates, summoning him to court on 22nd July. Nellie thinks the bad luck is God's way of telling him that he should have been more charitable to Jules. Kathy tells Phil about Jimmy, and demands to know what is going on. Pauline visits Michelle, who is continuing to hide herself away at home. Liam winds Nigel up over what Bianca implied about him. Cindy does not appreciate being the go-to for queries about Gita. Pauline advises Sharon to check-in on Michelle. Jules enters Number 45 bearing good news - he has been offered a flat on George Street. Ian offers Sanjay a loan - he is delighted but wants cash, not a cheque. Pat confronts Carol at the launderette over missing articles of clothing from her latest wash. Sharon visits Michelle, but Michelle clocks on that she is seeing her at Pauline's request and is unhappy. Jimmy returns to the café with a rose for Kathy. Charles fires Gita from her job, giving Laura her position instead. An upset Gita tells him he has given her a one-way ticket back to the Square. |
