Summary[]
Arthur and Nellie argue over the car. Dougie's presence unnerves Sharon. Steve asks Sharon for an investment in his new business venture, but she tells him she cannot help him.
|
Steve considers a sleeping partner for a loan. Phil presents Kathy with a bottle of alcohol and an invite to his flat for a meal in the evening. Tricky Dicky notices the underwear he has been gifted on Carmen's market stall. He asks her if she remembers who she sold one to yesterday. Arthur gets a second opinion on his car, but it is the same opinion as Phil's. Ricky agrees to have a look at it however. Frank feels that the residents are uncaring about him, and just want the latest gossip. Tricky Dicky confronts Sanjay over the underwear and reminds him he can find out when his stall is up for renewal - he panics. Shelley invites herself into Mark's flat just as he is getting ready to go out. He feels suffocated by her, and tells her he needs space and alone time. Sanjay pleads with Tricky Dicky to forgive him and then explains the other gifts he received were not from him. Sharon wants to talk to Grant about Dougie, but cannot get a moment with him alone. Ian hears of Steve's financial needs and presents him with a business card. Tricky Dicky takes old flame Sarah out to an expensive restaurant after getting in touch with her, convinced she is his secret admirer. Shelley wanders Bridge Street alone. Her thoughts and worries about her relationship with Mark consume her. Tricky Dicky's card is declined at the restaurant, so Sarah pays, which unimpresses her, and she leaves. Kathy has a nightmare about Willmott-Brown. Shelley invites herself into Mark's flat again in the middle of the night to return a book. He is freaked by her increasingly unhinged behaviour. Phil asks Kathy questions about Willmott-Brown, making her uncomfortable. She tries leaving his flat but he does not want to lose her so promises not to talk of the subject anymore. Shelley returns to Number 55 the next morning. Michelle tells her that Mark has told her what she did in the night. She feels stupid and confronts Mark in the market, almost exposing his HIV secret. She manages to hold back but then realises she cannot stay in Albert Square any longer as she has embarrassed herself. Phil treats Kathy to a fry-up breakfast. Once she has gone, he is overcome with rage and punches a hole in a door as he hisses Willmott-Brown's name to himself. |
