Summary[]
D.I. Trent and D.C. Cornwall ask Frank about his finances and the financial history of the car lot. Della quits working for Sanjay, wanting to focus on hairdressing. Ian makes a private phone call at the café, and Cindy catches him on the phone and grows curious when he will not disclose what the call was about.
Tricky Dicky has a present left on his doorstep. He asks Natalie if she saw anything and when she says she did not, he convinces himself that he has a secret admirer. Della tells Steve of her desire to work at one of the top hair salons in London. He claims he has a proposition for her. Nigel finds a flat he likes on George Street, but cannot afford the deposit. D.I. Trent mentions Frank's feud with the rival cab firm from a few months previously, and presses him on why he has not mentioned it. Grant becomes suspicious over Phil's recent strange behaviour. Pat tries to talk to Frank about the possibility of David being Bianca's father, but Frank is not interested, instead exaggerating his problems. Tricky Dicky thinks that Carol is his secret admirer and takes her for a drink. Shelley suggests to Mark they go to the cinema, but is rejected. D.I. Trent and D.C. Cornwall visit Phil. Carol heads to the café for a coffee but leaves empty-handed after spotting Bianca and David together. Frank drowns his sorrows once more to try and forget the guilt. Mark visits Arthur and Pauline to personally thank them for believing in him. Carol and Pat cannot help but jibe at each other in the launderette. Cindy spies on Ian as he gets into a van and drives off. Tricky Dicky and Sanjay are questioned by the police over how long Frank was in the Vic for on the night of the fire; the police then head over to Number 41 and arrest Frank on suspicion of manslaughter and suspected conspiracy to defraud an insurance company. |
