Summary[]
As Frank and Phil are on edge, Bianca and Natalie continue to mess with Tricky Dicky by sending him bouquets of flowers with notes on them. Arthur advises Mark not to get out of his depths with a loan and the stall.
|
Phil explains to Frank he will douse the cars in petrol and set them alight. Nigel asks Grant, Kathy, and Sharon to sign references he has written for himself as he needs them for house-hunting. Pat confronts Carol outside the shop and tells her that David is not Bianca's father, and that she does not know who the father is herself. Ian tells David that he wants them to accept Mark's offer of £10,000. David advises he waits as there may be someone else interested. Grant gets the evening off work at The Vic and invites Phil for a night out; he agrees to go. Tricky Dicky offers Ian £10,500 for the stall. Ian informs Mark of the offer. Shelley shouts that Mark will pay £10,750, but Mark stops her and tells Ian he will not be bidding higher. Pat and Ricky sense Frank's uneasiness but put it down to the financial strain he has been under. Tricky Dicky asks Bianca for his house keys back. She hands them over, but tells him they do not have to end as a smirk paints her face. Frank gets drunk and falls asleep at home. Phil returns from a night out with Grant and, once silence falls across Albert Square, he heads to the car lot with a petrol canister and splashes the front of the lot. He ignites a fire-soaked cloth and drops it, and an almighty explosion throws Phil backwards as the cars engulf with flames. He manages to escape unseen. Residents are awoken and rush to see what is happening. Pat wakes Frank and they head outside with David and Ricky to see the car lot ablaze. Fire engines arrive and put the fire out, but relief turns to horror when someone is pulled from one of the cars. |
