Summary[]
Pat is pleased to see her son after sixteen years. Grant gives Frank the idea of looking for a money lender. Ricky suggests an evening at the pictures with Mandy but she does not want anything to do with him anymore.

Pat does not know what to say to David, having not seen him for the past sixteen years. Frank is introduced to him and takes the pair into the living room. Pat tells him that Pete is dead and is stunned when he tells her he already knows as he attended the funeral. She asks him where he is staying and offers to let him sleep on the sofa. Ricky wakes up the next morning in a good mood. Bianca unsuccessfully tries bagging a job at the Vic through a conversation with Grant. Pauline heads to Ian and Cindy's flat to see their daughter, but she is sleeping. She is disgraced at the messiness of the flat and heads over to Kathy to encourage her to get involved and help them. Debbie starts working on Tracey's stall for a few weeks and tries to catch-up with Nigel, but he wants nothing to do with her. Pauline visits Auntie Nellie in hospital and soon learns from her social worker that she is under the impression that she is moving in with her once she has been discharged from hospital. Kathy visits Ian and Cindy and takes charge of the situation. She demands that Cindy rests whilst she looks after Steven and Ian looks after his daughter. Gita takes over work on the stall and gives Sharmilla to Michelle to look after. Sanjay tries reasoning again with her on the stall but is results in her getting aggressive and smacking Tricky Dicky in the face when he tries to get involved. Pauline tells Mandy she will have to leave as they Nellie is moving in next week. David has plans to take the Butchers out for an evening meal, but it goes wrong when he credit card is declined at the restaurant and they have to leave. Cindy and Ian decide to call their daughter Lucy. Mandy steals Pauline's purse before she hits the road. She takes the money from it and then hitchhikes her way to the A106 to make her way up the M11 and leaves Walford. |
