Summary[]
Kathy falls out with Phil over the mysterious new woman in his life. Gita loses her patience with Sanjay as she is stuck at home with the baby. Pat worries about Janine.

Kathy suffers a power cut as a result of Aidan and Mandy's electrical supply at the squat. Janine steals money from Pat's purse when no one is around. Kathy acts off with Phil. Nadia then arrives at the café to talk to him, making her even more frustrated. Nadia tells Phil that she is confident that nothing will happen to them because the Home Office are inundated with calls of marriages of convenience claims. She tells him that she is off and hopes they will not cross paths again until June. Before she goes, she hands him a list of things to buy to make it look like she is living at his flat. Mark surprises Michelle with money for a holiday to Amsterdam. Michelle is incredibly grateful. A woman searches for Phil at the Vic. Grant tells her he is no longer living at the Vic but will not give her his new residence. Kathy learns that Aidan and Mandy were the reason she lost electricity and scolds them for it. Pat visits Janine's schoolteacher to ask how Janine is getting on. She thinks that her going to prison is the reason behind Janine's shift in behaviour. Michelle goes in search of Sanjay to pay for the expensive item of clothing she bought from his stall. Kathy turns to Sharon to find out who the other woman is in his life. She learns that Phil is married to Nadia but strictly out of convenience and is reassured. Two schoolgirls bully Janine in the launderette, mentioning Pat and her ordeal from earlier in the year. The woman looking for Phil catches Mandy talking to him and asks her where he lives. Mandy tells her. Kathy visits Phil and he promises her that he will not be seeing Nadia again. They have make up sex. Grant catches Mandy talking to the woman and pays her to find out what she told him. He frantically tries phoning Phil to warn him. Mark decides to go on holiday with Michelle, Shelley and their friends. Kathy leaves Phil's after their evening of passion. Phil goes to head out but bumps into the woman looking for him. She introduces herself as Miss Rosenz from the Home Office's immigration department and asks to talk to him and Nadia. Phil says he is going out, so she agrees to meet at a more convenient time for the pair. Once she has gone, Phil phones Nadia and tells her he needs to see her urgently. |
