Summary[]

Frank is furious to find Mandy and Aidan squatting in the portacabin. Tension lingers at Number 55 between Michelle and Shelley. Cindy updates Gita on Tricky Dicky's latest tricks.

Cindy tries on the dress Tricky Dicky bought her and is caught wearing it by Ian - she does not tell him where it came from, but also decides not to wear it.

Frank confronts Ricky after learning from Mandy and Aidan that he allowed them to stay at the portacabin.

Nigel wallows in self-pity but does not get the sympathy he hoped for from residents.

After settling things with Ricky, Frank shows him his phone bill, which is inundated with lady numbers. Ricky visits Aidan and Mandy and tells them that Frank caught him phoning lady numbers, but insists he was phoning them to make friends. He tells them that he tried to make up for the cost of the calls by entering a music competition phone-in, where contestants have to sing down the line and the best voice wins cash. He gives Aidan and Mandy the number so that they can have a go.

Ian wants to see Hattie - he gives her a warning for winding Cindy up about his relationships whilst she was away.

Michelle confides in Sharon when Vicki asks her about her father. She tells her she is not ready to tell Vicki the truth yet.

Ian winds Tricky Dicky up at the café.

Sharon babysits Vicki whilst Michelle works. Vicki asks Sharon if her father is coming back; she does not know what to say.

Gita irritates Tricky Dicky at the launderette, so he decides to teach her a little lesson.

Hattie is unimpressed by Cindy.

Dot goes to see Ashley, Nick, and Zoe. Nick is disgusted to see her again, while Ashley ignores her.

Frank catches Aidan trying to break in and squat at Number 5. He gives him a stern warning.

Nick is unsavoury towards Dot again. Zoe tells her that he has had no luck bagging a job recently.

Michelle and Shelley start to clear the air. Shelley tells her that Russell fancies her.

Mandy treats herself and Aidan to food with some money she has made. She does not tell him how she made it. Aidan tells her he found them a place to squat at, and despite what Frank said to him earlier, they go there anyway.

Cindy keeps the dress Tricky Dicky bought her despite claiming she has thrown it away.

Tricky Dicky visits Gita at the launderette whilst she is alone and intimidates her as he reminds her about the time she tried it on with him when she was drunk.

Dialogue[]

DOT COTTON: Nigel, you can't spend the rest of your life lying on that bare sofa. You'll never meet a new girl that way. Not unless they get blown in through the window...

DOT COTTON: Ooh, Nigel, that's blasphemy that is. You'll get struck down.
