Summary[]
Arthur catches Aidan and Mandy sleeping rough on Turpin Road. Ian's kindness towards Hattie does not go unnoticed by Cindy. Ashley and Zoe arrive at Number 25.

Christine finds Arthur and tells him she wants them to have some quality time together in the evening; he agrees to meet her. Cindy cries as she worries Ian will leave her again - he promises her he will stay by her side. Mandy catches Frank leaving the Square, so heads over to his flat to work her way around Ricky. Dot is in a bright mood, excited to see Ashley again. Nigel feels the opposite, as Debbie has not replied to his letter. Ricky agrees to let Aidan and Mandy freshen up in the flat. Cindy decides to play Tricky Dicky at his own game and asks to meet him away from the Square in a street later in the afternoon. Frank returns to the Square to find Ricky napping with Aidan and Mandy in the flat. He loses his temper with Ricky, and when Aidan and Mandy wake up, they quickly flee. Kathy catches Cindy and Tricky Dicky speaking again. Clare arrives on the Square with a letter for Nigel. He reads it and learns that Clare's father Liam is back on the scene complicating things, and Nigel is gutted. Cindy interrupts Kathy after seeing her in the Vic and realising her intentions. Aidan tells Mandy he wants a roof over his head, but also wants her; she tells him she will leave it to him to find them a place. Pauline reminds Arthur that Martin is starting judo and they have to be interviewed by his instructor in the evening; Arthur tries to get out of it, but when Pauline grows suspicious of his motives, he backtracks and agrees to go. Christine is deeply disappointed when she learns he will not be spending the evening with her. Tricky Dicky waits in the street for Cindy to show up. She arrives in the van, and Ian and Steven join her. She tells him they are teaching him a lesson, so he feeds Ian lies, telling him that she is covering her tracks and that he is a fool to believe her. |
