Summary[]

Ian has money troubles. Nigel meets up with Debbie. Arthur is jealous of Christine's husband Greg.

Ian is given a rough estimate for the changes he has to make to his business in order to keep it running - £3,000 to £4,000.

Nigel is feeling low - he wants to spice his life up and find love, but feels time is running out.

Ian goes to withdraw £100 from a cashpoint but is unable to as he does not have the funds. He returns to the Vic and has words with Harry Samson, a business associate who owes him £1,500; he promises him he can have it by the end of the day.

Nigel's luck changes when, whilst walking down the market, he notices Debbie running Tracey's stall whilst she is on her honeymoon. He takes her to the café to treat her. He then buys her flowers.

Ian receives a phone call from the Meal Machine's landlord demanding his outstanding rent and threatening to repossess the property if he fails. Cindy then shows up wanting £50. He takes it out of the petty cash.

Tricky Dicky accuses Gita of grassing him up, but Sanjay insists she had nothing to do with anything.

Michelle finds a lonely Clyde on the Square benches; she encourages him to talk to her and he admits he is missing Gidea. She helps him realise that he is young and still has his life ahead of him, so needs to go and find her and tell her how he feels.

Ian and Tricky Dicky bicker in the café. Kathy notices something is up with Ian and tries to get him to talk.

Greg continues his plan to win Christine over and get her back.

Cindy finds Ian at home with alcohol and offers him a hug. He insists everything is fine.

Greg and Christine head to the Vic for a drink. Arthur finds them together and is jealous. Arthur later meets her in the café and she reassures him that she and Greg are history and that she has told him she is seeing someone else.

Ian and Tricky Dicky come face-to-face in the Vic and row, causing the bar to fall silent. Ian goes to assault Tricky Dicky but is stopped by Grant who throws the pair out. Ian goes back over to the Meal Machine and is greeted to Harry, who tells him that his business has collapsed and he cannot pay him. Ian panics, as the £1,500 was what he needed to keep the Meal Machine.
