Summary[]
Preparations for Lou’s return continue, and provide some entertainment. More money seems to have gone missing at the Vic. More of Saeed’s activities are revealed. Ethel gets into the Christmas spirit.
Den dislikes the spray job Lofty did on his car, so hoists him up on the rope being used to bring Lou's furniture downstairs through the window. Mary tells Lofty that Saeed visits the strip club where she works. Saeed later thinks Lofty knows about his obscene phone calls and almost reveals it, and Debbie later gives Saeed the number for the Samaritans. Naima visits Pauline and Saeed arrives. Pauline tells him that Naima has already left, so he goes to the shop and trashes it. Ethel's wages from the Vic are £10 short, so Den and Angie suspect one of their employees of theft. Ethel manipulates Lofty into knitting blankets for Willy and Roly as her Christmas presents to them. Angie tells Debbie that Andy has been doing bar work to earn extra money and Debbie feels guilty about this. |
