A former resident returns to Walford and solves a mystery for Debbie. Angie and the car are worse for wear in the morning. Dot is feeling abandoned. Annie gets some new clothes.

Naima returns and sees her home up for sale and a closing down sale at the shop. She visits Debbie where she answers the phone and recognises the caller's voice, speaking Bengali to him. Pauline agrees to let Michelle move into Lou's bedroom permanently, and Lou's new commode arrives. Dot confronts Den about Nick's leaving and reminds him that adultery is also a sin. Sue buys a dress for Annie, while Lofty knits a top for Annie to wear. Mary loves Lofty's creation and feels she has to be thankful to Sue despite not liking the dress. Ali and Sue discuss the possibility of having another child. |
