Summary[]
Christine returns to the area and is given a job at the café by Kathy. That night, Arthur takes Pauline for a meal there and is shocked to see her working there. Phil visits Grant in prison and tells him that Ricky no longer works for them anymore but works for Frank. Aidan is on crutches but is keen to go back to playing football after his knee injury. He wants to go for a walk, but Arthur tells him to rest. Sanjay invites Richard round to his flat for a meal. Gita is very wary of him.

Aidan is on crutches and must rest. Sanjay encourages Gita to let them have Tricky Dicky over for dinner. Shelley is unsettled when Nigel shows up at Number 55 early. Arthur goes to see Mrs Hewitt at her house, but she is nowhere to be seen. Mandy keeps Aidan company at Number 45 until Pauline gets her out so Aidan can rest. A woman buys an item of clothing from Sanjay's stall. Arthur returns home and goes to phone Mrs Hewitt when he suddenly realises that Aidan has gone out. He panics. Michelle picks up on Sharon's positive mood. Frank and Ricky get to work on buying what Ricky needs. Phil visits Grant, who is paranoid that he is going to be going down for a long time if the police pick him up on other offences he has not been imprisoned for already. Sylvia befriends Ricky. Stan informs Arthur that Aidan might need an operation and counselling. Aidan gets on a bus which leaves the Square. The woman who bought clothing from Sanjay's stall earlier returns to confiscate his goods and inform him that he will be summoned to court on the charge for infringement of copyright. Phil returns to the Vic and updates Sharon on what is happening. Gita snaps at Sanjay and Tricky Dicky during their meal. Aidan returns to the Square after his day of wondering. He fears what the future may hold for him. Mandy supports him. Pauline decides she does not want to cook, so heads out with Arthur to the bistro. Michelle tells Nigel that Shelley has a boyfriend who plays for the college rugby team. It frightens him off. Arthur and Pauline are left speechless when they come face-to-face with Mrs Hewitt and learn she is the new chef at the bistro. |
