Summary[]
Aidan returns to Walford Town FC for the team trials. Shelley advises Nigel not to grow attracted to her as she is focusing on her education before looking for love. Ricky becomes fed up of working for Grant and Phil.

Arthur is drunk, while trade at the bistro is slow. Upon returning home, Arthur apologises to Pauline for "everything". She forgives him, despite not knowing what she is forgiving him for. Phil and Sharon are in a good mood. After closing up, Phil takes her upstairs to bed. Arthur is left worried when Pauline reminds him the next morning that he apologised to her for everything. Phil is late out of bed as Sharon has let him lie-in. Ricky is left to open up the Arches alone. Nigel helps Shelley move into Number 55 and then shows her around the Square. Tricky Dicky notices Sanjay's upmarket clothing he is selling on his stall and suggests he has an explanation for the Standards people. Gita overhears Tricky Dicky and presses him on why Standards would ask Sanjay about his stock without being given a tip-off. Frank suggests that Ricky works for him instead, fixing up his lot cars. Ricky tells him he has already thought the same thing. Mandy encourages Pete to go to Aidan's team trials with him and then tries to get some more work off him. Mrs Hewitt returns to the Square after hearing Kathy is looking for a French-style chef to cook for her bistro. Kathy takes her on. Ricky hands his notice in at the Arches. Sanjay is confused by Gita's caution towards Tricky Dicky. Shelley suggests to Michelle that they take Nigel in as he can fix things for them. Aidan suffers an accident during the team trials as Arthur, Mandy, Mark, Pete and Steve watch. He is carried off the pitch by staff as Mandy worries. |
