Summary[]
Frank is determined to keep the cab firm running, even if he has to do it by himself. Mandy continues her pursuit for happiness with Aidan. Clyde is left to run the Vic alone for the second day in a row when Grant and Phil's friends return.
Sanjay stays out all night and returns to the Square early next morning. Pete, Steve and Rose are dropped off at Turpin Road by a police car. It transpires the man following Pete mistook him for a member of a drugs gang, and after seeing Steve hand him a bag, they assumed he was the dealer. Steve is embarrassed. Rachel receives good news in the post. Rose is unsure about her future with Pete after realising he thought the man was one of Alfie's relatives. Michelle asks Pauline to tell her if Jack returns to the Square. Pauline thinks Michelle is being silly. Frank tries to talk some sense back into Pat over her future. It finally works, and Pat heads over to the portacabin to get him back on track. Rose cannot be without Pete and decides to stick around with him. Michelle heads to Number 45 to pick Vicki up when she finds Jack there. She is annoyed with Pauline for leaving her and Martin alone in his care. Fed up of waiting for Aidan, Mandy decides to visit him at the football club's changing rooms and tell him how she feels. Gita makes amends with Sanjay over her outburst the other night. Clyde is fed up with the sight of Jack and threatens him when he returns to the Vic. Kathy's bistro night starts to pick up. Rachel tells Michelle that she has an interview for publisher's assistant tomorrow and is sure she will get the job. Michelle is put out when Rachel tells her the job is in Leeds. Clyde has enough of Grant and Phil's friends' rowdy behaviour and kicks them out. Grant and Phil do not appreciate Clyde's intervention. Phil reminds Clyde that he and Grant have a cut in the Vic and tells him that he can choose whether or not to make his life easy. |
