Summary[]
Hattie invites Steve to Norwich to spend Christmas with her family. Dot's carol service is thrown into jeopardy when Nigel claims to have a sore throat and a number of other singers pull out from illness. Meanwhile, Pat's business is booming.
Mandy has set up her own place to sleep in the Square gardens. Mark looks at the newspaper for somewhere else to live. Pauline is saddened as she wants him to stay at home. Pete feeds Mandy. Arthur plans to take Martin and Vicki to see Santa in the afternoon. Pat needs Frank's assistance as she has a regular customer needing to use her services, but she is busy with other customers. He reluctantly agrees to help her out. Nigel hears about Dot's crisis and offers to sing, despite having a "sore throat". The Santa turns up with his elf but heads straight to the Vic instead of the grotto. Mark talks with Steve about them renting a flat together. Ian meets Cindy again. Santa gets drunk and then asks to use Pat's minicab services to get him and Tanya the elf home. However, once in the cab, he tries getting sexual with Tanya. Pat kicks him out of the cab and Arthur watches on in horror with Martin and Vicki! Ian tells Cindy she can spend Christmas alone with Steven or back on the Square with him. |
